The Solarium Series began during the pandemic as a way to find peace and healing during an intense time to be on this planet. As I dug my hands in the dirt of my garden, flowers appeared on canvas in my studio. Themes emerged as I found contrast between bold tropical flowers and intricate textural patterns evoking childhood memories.
